The Illinois Basketball Coaches Association has released the rosters for its 2026 annual high school all‑star basketball games, setting the stage for a showcase of the state’s top senior talent.
The contests will be held on June 13 at Pontiac High School, where four games will commence at 11 a.m., 1 p.m., 3 p.m. and 5 p.m., offering a full day of competition across two divisions.
Event Schedule and Regional Rosters
The schedule splits the action into Class 1A/2A and Class 3A/4A brackets, with the girls’ Class 1A/2A game opening the day at 11 a.m., followed by the boys’ counterpart at 1 p.m. The 3A/4A matchups will conclude the slate at 3 p.m. for the girls and 5 p.m. for the boys.
Rosters for each division and gender have been compiled, grouping players by geographic regions. The North side of the 3A/4A boys bracket features athletes from schools such as DePaul Prep, Hillcrest, and Benet, while the South side includes competitors from MacArthur, Mattoon and Springfield Lanphier.
In the 1A/2A boys division, the North roster draws from institutions like Yorkville Christian, Aurora Christian and Chicago Farragut, whereas the South side will be represented by squads from Lawrenceville, Clinton and Goreville. Parallel lineups exist for the girls’ categories, with the North grouping schools such as Chicago Kenwood, Hersey and River Forest Trinity, and the South side listing O'Fallon, Homewood‑Flossmoor and Marion.
Coaches from across the state will guide their respective squads, and the event serves as a final opportunity for seniors to display their skills before college commitments. The games are expected to draw considerable attention from college scouts and local fans alike.
The geographic split not only highlights the depth of talent across Illinois but also provides a narrative of regional pride, as each team seeks to represent its area with distinction.
