MVPs and All‑Stars Shine in 2026
The Interscholastic Athletic Conference has unveiled its 2026 baseball Most Valuable Players and all‑star selections, highlighting the best talent from both Large and Small School divisions. Coaches across the league voted on the awards, recognizing excellence on the diamond and celebrating the season’s standout performances.
In the North Large School category, Dasch Benson of Lansing earned the MVP honor, capping a season that saw him lead his team with power and poise. Across the South, Tanner Buchanan from Thomas A. Edison was named MVP for the Large School division, his contributions helping his squad to a strong finish.
Small School divisions also saw their leaders celebrated. Asa Brown from Union Springs was selected as the North Small School MVP, while Cooper Dember of Tioga took the same title in the South Small School bracket.
Beyond the individual awards, the conference released a comprehensive all‑star roster that features players from a wide array of schools. Lansing’s representatives include Logan Mayo, Owen Hansen, Alex Boles, Jackson Woods and Ryan Thompson, while Trumansburg contributed Willoughby Puryear, Anthony Muro, Aidan Clarke‑Cabezas and Chris Clarke‑Cabezas.
Other schools rounding out the list include Whitney Point, Dryden, Thomas A. Edison, Watkins Glen/Odessa‑Montour, Union Springs, Moravia, Marathon, Southern Cayuga, Groton and Tioga, each supplying multiple honorees. The full roster spans names such as Logan Lounsberry, Landon Spoonhower, Nolan Zembek, Guiliana Pascarella, Connor Foggie, Austin Preuninger, Blake Thomas, Nicolai Holmes, Eli Landis, Noah Corbett, Carson Andrews, Blake Birdsall, Camdyn Kashuba, Brayden Dingy and many more.
