The Kansas Association of Baseball Coaches has unveiled its 2026 all-state baseball teams, spotlighting the state’s top high school talent.
Class 4A Honors
Among the standout performers, the McPherson Bullpups contributed three athletes to the first and honorable mention lists. Cade Strathman and Carter Bengtson earned first-team accolades, while Cru Buchman was placed on the honorable-mention roster.
The recognition reflects a season of strong pitching and hitting for the Bullpups, who finished among the elite in the 4A classification.
Class 3A Highlights
In the 3A division, Ty Heitschmidt of Smoky Valley was selected to the second team at first base, showcasing his defensive reliability. Gabe Mowry from Hesston also received an honorable-mention nod, underscoring his offensive contributions.
Class 2-1A Selections
The smallest classification saw a cluster of achievements from schools in the central part of the state. Clay Wilson, Logan Greenwalt and Layton Schmidt from Moundridge earned second-team honors, while Korbyn McClellan of Inman and Jameson Looper from Marion joined them on the same list.
Additional mention went to Finn Lintecum of Moundridge, who was placed on the honorable-mention roster, rounding out a strong showing for the region.
Overall, the 2026 all-state teams illustrate the depth of talent across Kansas high school baseball, with multiple programs earning representation across every classification.
