The 2026 Pro Football Hall of Fame game will be played on August 6 in Canton, Ohio, marking the official start of the NFL preseason.
A Legacy Game
The Arizona Cardinals and Carolina Panthers will meet on the field, each fielding a roster dotted with members of the Hall’s 2026 class.
Rookie quarterback Carson Beck is slated to start for Arizona, while backup Kenny Pickett will take the snap for Carolina.
The matchup will feature starters resting, giving younger players a chance to shine in a tradition that dates back to 1970.

The weekend also includes a dinner for the inductees on August 7 and the official enshrinement ceremony on August 8, honoring Larry Fitzgerald and Luke Kuechly.
