Scout Day 2026 Takes Over Nation Ford
On August 8, 2026, the Rock Hill Scout Day 2026 was held at Nation Ford High School in Fort Mill, South Carolina, bringing together a select group of high school baseball players from the Mill Town Baseball Academy and surrounding schools. The event, hosted by PB SC, served as a showcase for the region’s most promising talent.
Participants completed a pro‑style workout that included a 60‑yard dash, pitcher bullpens tracked by TrackMan, defensive evaluations and batting practice with high‑speed ball‑flight analysis. The combination of speed, power and precision metrics gave scouts a comprehensive view of each athlete’s abilities.
Standout Performances
Jacob Jennings of SC Legion Collegiate Academy posted the fastest 60‑yard dash time of the day, clocking 7.04 seconds. In the bullpen session, Weston Stalls from the same academy recorded the highest exit velocity at 88.3 mph, while Caleb Trader from SC Fort Mill High School followed closely with 87.6 mph and also ranked third among infielders with a positional velocity of 82 mph.
Catchers Liam Halle of SC Hammond and Evan Chwaszczewski of SC Fort Mill demonstrated strong arm strength, with Chwaszczewski posting pop times between 2.05 and 2.22 seconds. Their performances highlighted the depth of talent across the catching position in the region.
The event also featured players from multiple schools in both South Carolina and North Carolina, underscoring the cross‑state interest in the showcase. TrackMan analytics provided detailed data on exit velocities, positional velocities and fastball speeds, which ranged from 66.4 mph to 84.2 mph across the pitching staff.
