The 2026 Shore Sports Insider Baseball All‑Shore Team First Team has been announced, honoring the conference’s most impactful high school players. Selected from across the Shore region, the first‑team roster reflects a blend of offensive firepower, defensive reliability and leadership that defined the 2025‑26 season.
First Team Spotlight
Dan Lubach of Point Pleasant Beach returns as a three‑time First Team All‑Shore catcher, having guided his squad to both a Class A South division championship and the program’s inaugural NJSIAA Group I title. His .380 batting average placed him second in the conference for average, on‑base percentage and slugging, underscoring his all‑around offensive contribution.
Dan Golembiewski of Brick Memorial earned a repeat First Team nod, leading the Shore in home runs, RBI and extra‑base hits. His power surge helped the team to a dominant offensive stretch that saw multiple walk‑off victories.
Tyler Garbooshian, also from Brick Memorial, showcased versatility at shortstop and secured a commitment to Rutgers. He tied for the conference lead in hits while topping the league in walks and runs scored, a combination that highlighted his patient approach at the plate.
Ricky Lopez of Ranney, a junior shortstop headed to Louisiana State University, made a noticeable impact with four road home runs and a marked reduction in strikeouts. His disciplined hitting helped the team maintain momentum during a challenging stretch.

Luke Lonczak of Red Bank Catholic overcame a torn ACL to deliver a strong senior campaign, joining an elite group of 25 Shore players who posted a .400 average in at least 40 plate appearances. His resilience added an inspirational narrative to the all‑shore selections.
