2026 South Carolina High School League Baseball and Softball Championships
The South Carolina High School League has nearly finalized its 2026 baseball and softball state championship schedule, setting a compact window of competition that begins on Saturday, May 23 and wraps up by the end of the month.
Baseball finals are slated to culminate on Saturday, May 30, while the softball series will wrap up on either May 29 or May 30, depending on how the brackets unfold.
In most divisions, any Game 3 deciders will be played at neutral venues, but Class 4A will see the higher‑seeded team host the decisive contest on its home field.
The released matchups feature a slate of regional rivalries, including a Class 5A Division I baseball showdown between Dorman and the combined James Island/River Bluff squad, and a Class 5A Division II softball clash pitting Indian Land against St. James.
Other notable pairings see AC Flora facing Hartsville/Airport in Class 4A baseball, Southside Christian taking on Oceanside Collegiate in Class 3A, and a host of lower‑division contests that will determine the remaining state titles.
Softball finals will include a Class 5A Division I matchup between Byrnes and Summerville, a Class 3A championship between Crescent/BHP and Hanahan/Aynor, and additional regional finals that round out the schedule.
