Player of the Year: Joey Benoit
Joey Benoit of Taunton was named the 2026 Gazette Player of the Year, posting a .373 batting average and hitting six home runs while leading his team in multiple offensive categories
Cam Matthews of Bristol Aggie earned 46 percent of the Fans Choice vote, batting .457 and topping his squad in doubles triples and runs
Jeremy Knief of Taunton was selected to the First Team All‑Scholar list, leading the Tigers in singles triples runs and stolen bases with a .324 average, while pitcher Eddy Travers posted a 1.75 ERA, threw a complete game shutout and contributed a .263 average at the plate
Ryan Mahoney of Bridgewater Raynham paced the Trojans in singles and stolen bases while batting .380 and will continue his career at Johnson and Wales University, Liam Spry was described as the definition of an ace with a 1.65 ERA and 65 strikeouts in 55.1 innings, Ty Strausbaugh led the team with a .444 average 30 hits and 12 RBIs and earned a spot in the MBCA Senior Select All‑Star Game, Wes Palleschi of Bristol Plymouth posted a 2.33 ERA and was named an MAC All‑Star, Jordan Castro of Dighton Rehoboth batted .333 with 21 hits including four doubles and three triples and will play at Curry College, and Cole Viveiros of Dighton Rehoboth combined a 1.91 ERA with a .343 average and also excelled in basketball
Taunton captured its third straight Hockomock Kelley Rex crown before falling in the MIAA Division One Round of 32 to Westford Academy, Bridgewater Raynham finished undefeated in PAC Three play before a preliminary round loss to North Quincy, Dighton Rehoboth reached the Division Three Round of 32 before being eliminated by Newburyport, Bristol Aggie closed the season by winning three of its final four games, and Bristol Plymouth recorded a sweep of Southeastern in the MAC
