The 2026 T&G Hometeam baseball all-star squad brings together the most electrifying high school players from across Central Massachusetts, a cohort that has turned the local diamond into a showcase of raw talent and future promise.
Standout Performers
Among the honorees, Brian Silvester of Clinton High School earned the coveted Player of the Year award after a season that saw him dominate both at the plate and in the field. His 1.70 earned run average with the mound and a .444 batting average for Sean Burchard of Nipmuc Regional illustrate the blend of pitching and hitting excellence that defined the team. Beckett Bailey from Doherty High posted a 1.70 ERA and will continue his academic journey in exercise science at Westfield State, while Mark Garner of Leominster High slashed a .500 average and plans to study business at Southern New Hampshire University.
Jeffrey Guzman Jr. of Oxford High posted a .475 average and will play at Quinsigamond Community College, while Anthony Moura from Hudson High posted a .414 average and will pursue exercise science at Lasell University. Drew O'Connell of Shrewsbury High maintained a .444 average and is headed to Boston College for business, and Nolan Orzechowski from Millbury High posted a .424 average before committing to the University of Dayton.
Academic Paths and Future Goals
Angel Paulino of Shepherd Hill pitched a perfect game and will join Siena University, while Nolan Remington from Oxford High tossed a no-hitter and will study criminal justice at Wheaton College. Dominick Renzoni of West Boylston High posted a .493 batting average and aims to become a nurse anesthetist, and Conor Secrist from St. John’s High hit .358 and will attend the United States Naval Academy. Finally, Colin Taylor of North Middlesex Regional, with a .462 average, will transfer to Lawrence Academy to continue his development.
