Topps announced that Series 2 of its 2026 baseball card collection will hit stores on June 10, marking the continuation of a year‑long celebration of the brand’s 75‑year legacy in the sport.
The set is anchored by a deep rookie class that includes Kevin McGonigle, JJ Wetherholt, Munetaka Murakami and a handful of other promising prospects who are making their first appearance on a Topps base card.
New Insert Technologies
Among the new insert cards is the Diamond Dust series, distinguished by a sandpaper‑like texture that gives the artwork a tactile edge, while the All Aces, All Kings and Heavy Lumber inserts add variety for enthusiasts.
Buyback Cards make a comeback this year, allowing collectors to trade them for iconic Topps Baseball cards dating back seven and a half decades, linking past and present generations of the hobby.
The release also revives the Cover Athlete cards from Series 1, which pay homage to the packaging history of Topps Baseball, and introduces a range of autograph and relic cards that feature both established stars and the newly minted rookies.
