Academic excellence on the ice
The Holy Cross men's hockey program celebrated a milestone this week as 21 of its student‑athletes earned spots on the 2025‑26 Atlantic Hockey All‑Academic Team, a distinction that blends athletic achievement with scholarly performance.
To qualify, each player had to maintain a cumulative grade point average of at least 3.0 across both semesters of the academic year, underscoring the team's commitment to the student‑athlete model.
The recognition is not new for several seniors, with Jack Seymour becoming the first Crusader to appear on the list for the fourth time, while Devin Phillips, Joe Solimine, Mack Oliphant, Will Elias and Will Troutwine added their third selections.
Among the newcomers to the honor roll are junior goaltender Connor MacKenzie, sophomore forward Noah Eyre, freshman netminder Danick Leroux, freshman forward Will Reardon, and rookie defensemen Quinn McCall and Dax Williams, each marking their first appearance on the academic squad.
Across the league, a total of 229 student‑athletes were named to the All‑Academic Team, reflecting a growing emphasis on academic excellence within Atlantic Hockey.
