A Rising Star Joins the Saints
Aaden Rostance, widely known as "The Rooster," has officially committed to continue his baseball career at Shawnee Community College, a NJCAA Division I program located in southern Illinois.
The right‑handed pitcher capped a standout high school career at Salem High School, where he emerged as one of the most dependable arms on the staff and helped lead the Wildcats to several key victories.
During his senior season he posted a career‑low earned run average, threw an eight‑strikeout outing over five innings against Mattoon, and routinely took on the toughest assignments, demonstrating both skill and poise on the mound.
Beyond his pitching, Rostance also contributed offensively when the team needed a bat, showcasing a well‑rounded skill set that coaches say will translate well to the college game.
His development has been marked by patience and perseverance; each season he refined his mechanics, studied opposing hitters and grew into a vocal leader for his teammates.
