Aaron Fenimore Earns Preseason All-American Honors Ahead of 2026 Season

The Liberty center’s accolades reflect a dominant offensive line and a rushing attack that propelled the Flames to national notice.

Aaron Fenimore, the Liberty center, has been selected to the 2026 HERO Sports Group of Six Preseason All-American second team, a distinction that places him among the top interior linemen heading into the upcoming season.

Preseason Accolades

The honor is part of a wave of preseason recognitions that also include a spot on the 2027 Shriners Children's 1000 Watch List and first-team honors on the Athlon Sports CUSA Preseason All-Conference squad, while Phil Steele ranked him second-team all-conference.

Fenimore has been the anchor of Liberty’s offensive line for the past two years, handling 97.3% of offensive snaps in both 2024 and 2025 and earning the highest PFF grade among starting linemen in 2025 with a 73.5 rating.

His consistency helped the Flames rank third in Conference USA for rushing yards per game at 194.0, contributing to a season that saw the team finish fourth in the league with 25 rushing touchdowns and No. 26 nationally in that metric.

The production was amplified by running back Evan Dickens, who topped the conference with 1,339 rushing yards and 16 touchdowns, placing him ninth nationally in yards and sixth in scores.

Coach-level praise for Fenimore’s leadership underscores the belief that his interior presence will be a key factor as Liberty looks to build on its recent offensive momentum.
