Syracuse’s athletic director, Bryan Blair, welcomed the revised framework, stating that the Orange are poised to exceed the modest expectations many media outlets have placed on them. Blair, who assumed the role just under four months ago, emphasized that the team’s preparation has been intensive and that the new criteria could provide a competitive edge.
