Addison Senn, a senior at Ariton High School, has officially committed to continue his baseball career at Troy University, joining a program that recently advanced to the College World Series and is known for its national exposure.
A Versatile Athlete
Senn has distinguished himself across three sports, serving as a left‑handed pitcher and center fielder for the baseball team, a starting guard on the basketball squad, and a quarterback and defensive back on the football field.
His football performance earned All‑Messenger honors as a quarterback and defensive back, and he was recognized as All‑State as a punter, completing 88 of 145 passes for 1,423 yards and 14 touchdowns while also averaging 46.9 yards per punt.
On the basketball court he posted 13.2 points per game and earned All‑Messenger recognition, while his baseball season saw him strike out 102 batters with a 2.01 ERA and a .458 batting average at the plate.
Family Legacy and Influence
Senn follows in the footsteps of his older brother Ian, who began his college career at Troy before transferring to Wallace Community College to play golf, a path that has shaped Addison’s perspective on collegiate athletics.
The recent success of Troy’s baseball program left a lasting impression on Senn, who cited the university’s national exposure as a key factor in his decision.
