The Texas A&M Aggies opened their week with a resounding 141-61 victory over Toros del Valle in the Baha Mar Hoops Summer League, improving to 2-0 and cementing their early dominance on the Bahamian court.
Mackenzie Mgbako was the catalyst, pouring in 23 points and pulling down nine rebounds in just 13 minutes, while Tyshawn Archie added 21 points, four assists and three steals, underscoring a balanced offensive attack.
From the opening tip the Aggies surged ahead, scoring nine of the first 11 points and later stretching the lead with a 15-2 run that put them up by 22. By the end of the first period they held a 68-35 advantage, a gap they widened to 33 points before halftime.
