U.S. Air Force 1st Lt. Jasmine Copeland, a nurse assigned to the 60th Inpatient Operations Squadron, spends her weekdays tending to the health of service members, and her evenings on a local basketball court where she coaches a youth team.
A Dual Commitment
Copeland’s journey to the Air Force was driven by a clear ambition: to become a nurse. She leveraged the service’s education benefits to fund her degree and later earned a commission, a path that fused her clinical aspirations with a commitment to military medicine.
