Scoring opened early when Addie Doyle struck in the 19th minute, giving the Falcons an initial lead. The offense continued to click as Gianna Gigliotti added her first career goal from a corner kick in the 43rd minute, extending the advantage to 2-0 before halftime.
Ellie McCarron contributed a goal after a precise cross from Nalei Shannon, marking her first collegiate tally and pushing the lead to 3-1. Creighton managed to pull one back, but the Falcons' defense held firm.
Between the scoring bursts, goaltender Sydney Nelms was busy, making eight saves and posting a .889 save percentage. Her performance kept Creighton's attack at bay despite being outshot 21-8.
