Alabama Announces 2026 Girls Soccer All-Star Teams

Twenty-five rising seniors selected for North and South squads will meet in Montgomery next month

The Alabama High School Athletic Directors & Coaches Association has unveiled the 2026 girls soccer All-Star squads, naming 25 rising seniors to the North and South teams.

How the Teams Were Chosen

Selection concluded after the final spring sports games, with association members voting for the most promising talent across the state.

Coaches and directors emphasized performance, versatility and leadership when assembling the rosters, resulting in a balanced mix of attacking and defensive players.

All-Star Week in Montgomery

The selected players will converge in Montgomery for a week of activities running from July 20 through July 24.

The centerpiece, the girls soccer match, is set for 5 p.m. on July 22 at the YMCA Soccer Complex, a venue that has hosted the event for several years.

North and South Line‑ups

The North roster draws talent from schools such as St. John Paul II, Florence, Sparkman and Mars Hill Bible, while the South side features athletes from Auburn, Orange Beach, Spanish Fort and Dothan.

Positions range from goalkeeper to forward, and each player's school and role were listed in the official release, highlighting the depth of talent across Alabama.

Among the named participants are Lauren Altman, Becca Beaver, Kira Betts and many others, each bringing a unique skill set to the competition.

Beyond the match, the All-Star week includes clinics, press events and community outreach, giving the seniors a platform to showcase their abilities to college scouts and local fans.

Organizers say the showcase not only celebrates individual achievement but also reinforces the growing popularity of girls soccer in the state.
