Joining the staff as Director of Operations, Joey Jones brings a blend of playing experience and administrative acumen. A left‑handed pitcher who starred for South Alabama from 2015 through 2017, Jones later earned both a bachelor's and a master's degree in sport management. His six‑year tenure as Director of Operations at South Alabama followed, giving him a deep understanding of collegiate baseball administration.
Kevin Keister, a former Maryland standout, has been elevated to the role of Player Development Assistant. Keister’s collegiate career was marked by a .280 batting average and First Team All‑Big Ten honors as a sophomore. He also ranks third in Maryland history with 118 career walks, underscoring his patience and on‑base skills.
