Alabama Football Goes Streaming
ESPN has revealed that a handful of Alabama Crimson Tide games during the 2026 college football season will be made available to stream on Disney+, marking a notable shift toward direct‑to‑consumer sports coverage for one of the nation’s most watched programs.
The agreement covers the first four contests, and the schedule for those games will be announced weekly. The Week 2 matchup against the Kentucky Wildcats is set for September 12 at Kroger Field in Lexington, Kentucky, with the remaining broadcast details to follow in the coming weeks.
Nick Saban Returns to GameDay
Adding a layer of intrigue, former Alabama coach Nick Saban is slated to appear on College GameDay, and that weekly pre‑game show will also be streamed on Disney+ starting September 5, giving fans a chance to hear Saban’s analysis alongside the action.
While the streaming option expands access, the first three games of the season — against East Carolina, Kentucky and Florida State — will still be shown nationally on ABC, preserving a traditional broadcast footprint for those early‑season tests.
National Broadcasts and the Full Schedule
Beyond the highlighted matchups, Alabama’s 2026 slate includes games against South Carolina, Mississippi State, Georgia, Tennessee, Texas A&M, LSU, Vanderbilt, Chattanooga and Auburn, promising a demanding road ahead for the Crimson Tide as they chase another championship run.
