The Alabama high school baseball playoffs have reached the semifinal round, bringing together the state’s top teams in a tightly contested series of games that will run from May 13 through May 16.
While the matchups have been confirmed, the Alabama High School Athletic Association has yet to release a comprehensive schedule detailing dates, times and home venues, leaving coaches, players and fans eager for the finalized lineup.
Semifinals Across the Classifications
In Class 1A, Hubbertville will meet Appalachian while University Charter takes on Fayetteville. Class 2A features Red Bay versus Mars Hill Bible and G.W. Long against Ariton. The 3A bracket pits Gordo against Piedmont and Lee‑Scott Academy up against Glenwood.
Class 4A will see Westbrook Christian host Central Florence and Opp travel to face Bibb County, while the 5A slate includes Moody versus American Christian Academy and Faith Academy up against Briarwood Christian. In the highest division, 6A matchups feature Hartselle against Hazel Green and Northridge taking on Spain Park, and 7A will showcase Thompson versus Hewitt‑Trussville as well as Central‑Phenix City battling the winner of the Enterprise‑Auburn contest.
The championship series is slated for May 18 through May 22, promising a week of high‑stakes games that will crown the state champions across all divisions.
