Alabama High School Soccer Coaches Honor Top Players with All-State Selections

Ava Haygood, Kinlee Montgomery and dozens of peers earn spots across classifications and divisions

All-State Honors Celebrate Alabama Soccer Talent

The Alabama High School Soccer Coaches Association recently released its All-State teams, recognizing the state’s top boys and girls players across multiple classifications. Selections were based on votes from coaches and reflect performances from the 2025 season.

Among the honorees, Ava Haygood of Cherokee County earned a rare double spot, making both the Girls Class 1A-3A and Girls Class 4A first teams. Her versatility helped her stand out, while teammates Kinlee Montgomery and Callie Cook from Glencoe, as well as Brooke Vandiber, Isbella Romero, and Anna Harrison McGehee from Donoho, were all placed on the Girls Class 1A-3A first or second teams.

The boys side saw Will Klinner of Lincoln named to the Super All-State first team, and Anthony Osorto from White Plains selected for both the Super All-State and Class 4A squads. Additional recognitions went to Carlos Martinez of Saks, Bruce Downey and Chase Bamberg of White Plains, and several players from Hokes Bluff, Cleburne County, and Southside.

Other notable mentions include Emerson Weaver of Jacksonville on the Girls Class 5A first team, and a cluster of Lincoln players — Colin Allison, Noah Colley, L.J. Millender — who secured spots on the Boys Class 5A second team. The breadth of schools represented underscores the depth of talent across Alabama’s high school soccer landscape.
