Alabama’s rising star William Sanders is set to open the doors of Brookwood High School to young athletes this June.
The youth football camp, scheduled for June 6, welcomes boys and girls between the ages of eight and twelve, offering them a chance to learn from a Crimson Tide offensive lineman who helped the team to a 15‑game season in 2025.
Camp Overview
Held on the school’s own field, the camp will focus on fundamental techniques, positional drills and character development, with Sanders guiding participants through hands‑on sessions.
Sanders, a four‑star recruit from the 2024 Alabama class, redshirted as a freshman and saw action in every game last season, earning a spot in the competition for the starting left guard position heading into 2026.
A back injury forced him to miss spring practice this year, but medical staff expect him to be fully recovered by fall camp, where he will continue to battle for the left‑guard role.
Looking Ahead
Beyond the camp, Sanders’s trajectory reflects the depth of Alabama’s recruiting pipeline and the program’s ongoing emphasis on player development under head coach Kalen DeBoer.
The event also underscores the university’s commitment to community outreach, partnering with local schools and the University of Alabama’s athletic department to inspire the next generation of student‑athletes.
