Alabama’s 2028 recruiting class has already positioned itself at the pinnacle of the national rankings, a testament to the program’s relentless pursuit of top talent.
The latest addition, four-star offensive lineman Anthony Blalock Jr., chose the Crimson Tide after a brief but decisive recruitment that saw Alabama extend an offer in June and secure his commitment within weeks.
A Commitment that Signals National Ambition
Blalock, a product of The Finch School in Youngstown, Ohio, highlighted the decision as a perfect fit for his development goals, citing the coaching staff’s vision and the program’s recent resurgence under head coach Kalen DeBoer.
His commitment not only bolsters Alabama’s front line but also illustrates the staff’s capacity to win recruiting battles against traditional powerhouses such as Ohio State, Penn State, North Carolina and Texas Tech.
The class now features additional marquee names, including four-star quarterback Kingston Preyear, further cementing Alabama’s status as the early favorite for the 2028 cycle.
