The latest addition, four‑star edge rusher Tysir Young, chose the Crimson Tide over a slate of suitors that included Auburn, Georgia, Duke, Boston College, Cincinnati and several other powerhouses.

Ranked as the No. 13 edge rusher and the No. 105 overall prospect by the 247Sports Composite, Young also holds the distinction of being the top player in Delaware, a state that has produced few recruits of his caliber.
His pledge brings the class to seven committed members, a group that already features quarterback Kingston Preyear, offensive lineman Anthony Blalock Jr., cornerback Braylen Gibbs and Charles Scott Jr., giving Alabama a balanced mix of skill positions and line play.
