A Rising Star in College Soccer
Alex Hall, a junior midfielder for the Washington Huskies, has earned a spot on the United Soccer Coaches MAC Hermann Trophy Watch List for the 2026 season, a recognition that highlights his breakout performance in 2025.
During the previous campaign Hall contributed five goals and eight assists, accumulating 18 points and ranking fourth on the team in total production. Two of his goals proved decisive, including the third strike in a 3‑1 NCAA Tournament victory over Maryland that sent Washington to the College Cup.
His efforts also secured him a place on the All‑Big Ten First Team and earned him the Big Ten Offensive Player of the Week honor, underscoring his impact on the field.
Schedule and Expectations
With veteran Richie Aman having departed for the MLS SuperDraft, Hall is slated to assume a larger share of the attacking responsibilities. He will begin the preseason with an exhibition against Peninsula College on August 8 before the regular season opens on August 20 against San Diego.
