Summer Soccer Clinic Brings Energy to Northborough Fields
Algonquin Girls Soccer is set to host a week‑long youth clinic for children entering grades one through eight, running from August 17 to 20, 2025, each morning from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.
The sessions will take place on the high school’s multi‑purpose field at 79 Bartlett Street, a venue that has become a familiar gathering spot for local athletes and families.
Varsity players and the program’s coaching staff will lead the instruction, blending technical drills with small‑sided games to keep the atmosphere lively while sharpening each participant’s fundamentals.
Organizers emphasize that the camp is as much about enjoyment as it is about improvement, encouraging youngsters to experiment, make new friends, and develop a love for the sport.
Registration carries a fee of $200 per player, and attendees are asked to bring their own soccer ball and a supply of water to stay hydrated throughout the energetic sessions.
Beyond the technical work, the clinic aims to strengthen community ties by giving families a shared experience on the field, reinforcing the school’s commitment to youth engagement and healthy activity.
