2026 All-Continental League Honors
The All-Continental League unveiled its 2026 baseball teams this week, showcasing a deep pool of talent drawn from schools across Aurora and the surrounding region. The selections reflect a competitive season in which offensive and pitching excellence were on full display.
Regis Jesuit standout Chase Massey was crowned the league’s Player of the Year after delivering a standout performance at the plate and in the field. His consistent hitting and clutch contributions helped the Raiders secure a top seed heading into the postseason.
Mountain Vista’s right‑hander Sawyer Tipton earned Pitcher of the Year honors. Tipton’s dominance on the mound, highlighted by a string of double‑digit strikeout games, anchored the Golden Eagles’ pitching staff and kept them in contention throughout the schedule.
Coach of the Year accolades went to Matt Darr of Regis Jesuit. Darr’s strategic acumen and ability to develop young talent were cited as key factors in the team’s resurgence, earning him respect from peers and players alike.
Thomas Healy from Highlands Ranch received the FIWB Legacy Award, recognizing his commitment to sportsmanship and community involvement. The award underscores the league’s emphasis on character as much as competition.
