League honors top performers
The All‑Continental League unveiled its 2026 girls soccer honorees, recognizing a blend of elite first‑team athletes, coaching excellence, and exemplary sportsmanship across the state’s competitive high schools.
Jaya Dern from Castle View earned the prestigious Player of the Year award, while Theresa Echtermeyer of Mountain Vista was celebrated as Coach of the Year. Douglas County received the league’s Sportsmanship Award, underscoring the community’s commitment to fair play.
Awards and recognitions
Elly Bante of Regis Jesuit secured a spot on the first team, joining a roster of standout athletes from schools such as Chaparral, Highlands Ranch, Legend, Ponderosa, Rock Canyon and ThunderRidge. The selections reflect a deep pool of talent spread across the league’s diverse member institutions.
