Six players from the Gators’ roster were chosen across the first three rounds, each securing deals that reflect both their projected talent and the slot values set by the league. Right‑hander Liam Peterson, the 19th overall pick, signed with the Cleveland Guardians for the full $4,530,500 slot allotment, while Kevin Roberts Jr. agreed to a $1 million bonus with the Baltimore Orioles, eclipsing his $711,800 expected slot.
The draft also produced a cascade of mid‑round successes. Kyle Jones, the 102nd overall selection, inked a $650,000 agreement with the Milwaukee Brewers, and Russell Sandefer, the 132nd pick, committed to a $434,000 deal with the Los Angeles Dodgers. Luke McNeillie, chosen 152nd by the New York Mets, received $472,500, while Hayden Yost’s $415,000 contract with the Seattle Mariners followed his 162nd‑overall selection. Blake Cyr, the 548th pick, reportedly secured a $150,000 bonus from the New York Yankees.
Undrafted free agent Karson Bowen rounded out the group by signing with the Texas Rangers, adding depth to a class that now boasts 21 career first‑round selections for the program and at least five draft picks in each of the past four seasons.
