Coach of the Year: Lane Deal
Lane Deal, also of London High School, was honored as Coach of the Year after guiding the London boys to a landmark season that included a first‑ever advancement to the state semifinals, a feat that has reverberated throughout the Coastal Bend.
London’s breakthrough to the state semifinals marked the first time a Coastal Bend program reached that stage, a milestone that underscored the growing competitiveness of the region and sparked celebration across the community.
Flour Bluff’s boys also made history, advancing to the Class 5A Division I regional final and delivering a season that many analysts described as the most successful in the school’s recent memory.
Among the standout performers, Jacob Carmona of Veterans Memorial posted 24 goals and 16 assists, earning District 29‑5A Utility MVP, while Izaiah Cintron of Flour Bluff contributed 23 goals and 22 assists, securing first‑team all‑district and TASCO All‑Region honors.
Singha Weeranitikun from London added 26 goals and 25 assists, capturing first‑team all‑district and TASCO All‑State accolades, further highlighting London’s offensive firepower.
Devin Williamson of Beeville scored 30 goals and 10 assists to win District 29‑4A Offensive MVP, and Ryan Carmona from Veterans Memorial, a two‑time District 29‑5A Offensive MVP, added 20 goals and 25 assists to his résumé.
