Amanda Kremer has been appointed to the newly created position of Chief of Staff for the University of Denver’s men’s ice hockey program, marking the first such role in NCAA Division I men’s ice hockey.
Kremer, who most recently served as chief of staff at KSL Capital Partners and held senior positions with Kroenke Sports and the Colorado Avalanche, will report directly to Head Coach David Carle and work alongside the program’s leadership to align priorities and drive key initiatives.
A legacy of championship ambition
The Pioneers have cemented their status as a powerhouse in college hockey, capturing 11 national championships, including titles in 2004, 2005, 2017, 2022, 2024 and a projected victory in 2026. Their nine Frozen Four appearances since 2004 remain the most of any collegiate program.
In her new capacity, Kremer will coordinate high‑priority projects, oversee signature events and foster collaboration among the athletic department, the broader university and local business partners, aiming to sustain the program’s momentum both on and off the ice.
A graduate of the University of Minnesota Duluth with a bachelor’s degree in applied science in athletic training, Kremer brings a blend of strategic insight and community engagement experience that the university hopes will translate into continued excellence and expanded reach for the Pioneers.
