Revitalizing a Growing Program
Manor College announced this week that Andrew Hart has been appointed head baseball coach, taking the reins of a program that will begin its seventh season of competition in the United States Collegiate Athletic Association (USCAA) this spring.
Hart arrives after a 16‑year stint coaching competitive travel baseball and local Little League, during which he amassed more than 150 wins and captured several tournament and league titles, including six years as instructor and head coach at WILD Baseball Club, Inc. in Levittown, Pennsylvania.
A multi‑sport athlete at Calvary Christian Academy, Hart lettered in baseball, basketball and football under the guidance of head coaches Chuck Bushbeck, Steve Kikendall and Mike Reichenbach, experiences that shaped his competitive drive and team‑building philosophy.
Before entering the coaching ranks, Hart spent more than two decades working in civil engineering and construction with the Philadelphia‑based firm JPC Group, a background he says informs his meticulous approach to preparation and strategy.
John Dempster, director of athletics at Manor College, praised Hart’s blend of playing experience, coaching success and commitment to student‑athlete development, noting that his leadership will extend beyond the diamond.
Hart says his primary focus will be on fundamentals, competitive play and creating an environment where players can have fun while pushing their limits, a philosophy he believes will lay a strong foundation for the program’s future.
The upcoming season will mark the fourth year that Manor’s baseball team has competed within the USCAA, and Hart is eager to build on the college’s recent progress, aiming to elevate the program’s profile and achieve sustained success.
