A Calm Second Race at Le Mans
Andrew Jordan captured victory in the second race of the NASCAR Classic weekend at the historic Circuit de la Sarthe, better known as Le Mans.
The American driver piloted a 2013 Toyota Camry emblazoned with the PEAK livery, a nod to the race’s technical partner, while his closest rival, Ryan Gemmell, chased him in a 2002 Chevrolet Monte Carlo that echoed the iconic design of Jean Girard’s vehicle from the film Talladega Nights.
Kurt Busch secured third place driving a 2020 Chevrolet Camaro, and JC France, the winner of the opening race, settled for fourth, completing a relatively orderly finish compared to the first event.
Rounding out the top five was Nigel Armstrong in a 2007 Toyota Camry, a result that underscored the competitive depth of the field despite the reduced number of caution periods.
Series officials noted only a single local yellow flag, a stark contrast to the chaos that marked the previous race, allowing the competition to unfold with minimal interruptions.
