A Strategic Hire for a Program Poised for Growth
Weaver arrives after a distinguished career that includes over 400 wins and multiple Coach of the Year honors. His long tenure at Plainfield, where he led the program for 14 seasons, provided a foundation of discipline and competitive spirit that he now hopes to translate to Zionsville.
During his time at Plainfield, Weaver compiled a career record of 422 wins against 313 defeats, establishing himself as one of the region’s most consistent mentors. The experience he gained there includes guiding teams to deep playoff runs and fostering player development that extends beyond the court.
The Zionsville program recently finished the 2025‑2026 season with a 13‑11 record and was ranked 16th in the final Indiana High School Boys Basketball Massey Rankings. That placement reflects a program on the rise and sets a promising backdrop for Weaver’s leadership.
