Andy Weaver Takes the Helm at Zionsville High
Zionsville High School announced the appointment of Andy Weaver as its new boys basketball head coach, ushering in a new era for the program.
Weaver, who spent 14 seasons leading Plainfield High School, arrives with more than three decades of coaching experience and a career tally of 422 victories.
His tenure at Plainfield was marked by a 22‑3 record in the most recent campaign and five Mid‑State Coach of the Year honors, along with three IBCA District 2 Coach of the Year awards.
The school community anticipates that his proven ability to build competitive programs will help the Eagles climb the state rankings, having finished the 2025‑2026 season ranked 16th.
Weaver’s hiring underscores Zionsville’s commitment to continuity and excellence, leveraging a coach whose philosophy emphasizes disciplined play and player development.
