Andy Weaver Takes the Helm at Zionsville High School
Zionsville High School announced this week that Andy Weaver, a veteran coach with more than three decades of experience, will take over as the new head coach of the boys basketball program.
Weaver spent the last 14 seasons leading Plainfield High School, where he compiled a 196‑137 record and guided the team to a 22‑3 finish last season, a campaign that earned him multiple Coach of the Year honors.
His career totals stand at 422 wins, and he has been recognized as IBCA District 2 Coach of the Year three times and Mid‑State Coach of the Year five times, underscoring his consistent impact on the court.
Zionsville enters the upcoming season with a state ranking of 16th, a testament to the program’s tradition of athletic excellence alongside strong academic and arts offerings.
The school community looks forward to building on that momentum as Weaver brings his proven leadership and deep‑rooted basketball philosophy to the Eagles.
