Ania Denham Joins Middle Tennessee Women’s Soccer for 2026

The Welsh forward aims to develop her game and help the Blue Raiders contend for future success

Middle Tennessee State University’s women’s soccer program announced the addition of Welsh forward Ania Denham to its 2026 roster, a move that promises to inject fresh attacking firepower into the squad.

A Journey From Wales To Murfreesboro

Denham, a native of Wales, has spent recent years honing her craft with Sporting Khalsa in the English Women’s Championship and representing her country at multiple youth levels. She logged 30 appearances for the senior side, netting ten goals in Tier 3 competition, and previously contributed two goals in seven matches with the U‑16 side, five in fifteen with the U‑17 squad, and three in twelve at the U‑19 level.

Coach’s Endorsement

Head coach Aston Rhoden highlighted Denham’s blend of experience and skill, stating that her background with both club and country equips her to strengthen the team’s attack and accelerate the development of younger teammates.

Denham said she is excited to be part of a team that’s pushing for success and looks forward to contributing to the club’s goals on the field.

The signing comes as the program prepares for the upcoming season, aiming to build on recent progress and compete more aggressively within its conference. With a blend of seasoned talent and emerging prospects, the Blue Raiders hope to translate their developmental focus into tangible results on the scoreboard.
