Anna Moser Commits to Florida Gators Women’s Basketball

Anna Moser, a former Rutland girls basketball guard, has officially committed to the University of Florida women's basketball program, signaling the next chapter of a career that has already earned national recognition.

Moser will graduate from Hoosac School in New York in 2027, where she has compiled a record of accolades that includes being named the New England Basketball Journal's NEPSAC AAA Girls Player of the Year and Vermont's 2024 Gatorade Player of the Year.

During her tenure at Hoosac, she helped the AAA Girls Basketball team capture the 2026 NEPSAC Championship and earned first‑team honors on the Burlington Free Press 2024 all‑state team. The Vermont Basketball Coaches' Association also named her co‑player of the year.

Moser's on‑court production has been equally impressive, averaging 18 points and 4.8 rebounds per game at Hoosac while also delivering 16.2 points, 3.6 rebounds, 2.6 steals and 2.1 assists per game during her time at Rutland. Her defensive prowess and playmaking have drawn interest from several Power 4 programs, including Indiana, Virginia, Arizona and Mississippi State.
