Annual basketball camp expands horizons in Augusta
The Dip Metress Basketball Academy returned to Augusta, Georgia, for its yearly session, drawing roughly 150 children between the ages of six and seventeen. The event, held in the city, is recognized as one of the largest gatherings of its kind in the region.
Instruction was provided by former Augusta University players alongside current coaches, offering participants hands‑on training that emphasized both skill development and a deeper grasp of the sport.
Organizers highlighted the camp’s purpose of expanding attendees’ understanding of basketball, aiming to broaden each player’s appreciation of the game.
