Mountaineer supporters have claimed the top five single‑season average home attendance marks in both Appalachian State and Sun Belt Conference history, with the peaks recorded in 2021, 2022, 2023, 2024 and 2025 at the iconic venue known as The Rock.
Looking ahead, the 2026 home slate features high‑profile matchups against Maine, Charlotte, Old Dominion, James Madison, Georgia State and ULM, while head coach Dowell Loggains has assembled a roster that boasts the highest‑rated signing class in Sun Belt Conference history, including All‑Sun Belt linebacker Colton Phares and several impact transfers.
Director of Athletics Doug Gillin emphasized that game days at The Rock are more than just contests; they are community events that draw thousands of fans and generate an estimated $100 million annually for the region.
Ticket sales follow a tiered release, with Yosef Club members and season ticket holders securing early access from June 22 to July 6, and the general public sale opening on Tuesday, July 7 at 10 a.m. via appstatesports.com/tickets. Prices start at $40 for the September 5 game against Maine, and children aged three and older must purchase a ticket to attend.
