Apple brings immersive Vision Pro baseball to live TV

8K 3D broadcasts with Spatial Audio debut on August 28

Apple is set to transform the way baseball fans watch the sport by delivering live games in an immersive Vision Pro experience.

The inaugural broadcast will feature the Boston Red Sox visiting the New York Yankees on August 28 at 7 p.m. Eastern Time, marking the first of several weekly matchups.

A dedicated commentary team featuring Paul Severino, Xavier Scruggs and Michelle Margaux will bring the action to life, while the production uses 8K 3D video, a 180‑degree field of view, Spatial Audio and custom graphics to place viewers at the heart of the stadium.

Immersive baseball experience

The schedule continues with a September 4 showdown between the Los Angeles Angels and the Pittsburgh Pirates, followed by a September 11 contest pitting the San Diego Padres against the San Francisco Giants, and concluding with a September 18 clash between the Los Angeles Dodgers and the Giants.

Live streams will be available to Apple TV subscribers in Australia, Canada, Germany, Hong Kong, Japan, South Korea, Taiwan, the United Kingdom and the United States, and full‑game replays and highlight reels will be accessible on demand through the Apple TV app.

The move underscores Apple’s ambition to blend high‑resolution spatial media with sports broadcasting, positioning Vision Pro as a leading platform for next‑generation immersive entertainment.
