APSU Women’s Basketball Unveils Historic First UAC Schedule

Governors set 16‑game conference slate, opening on the road and closing with a home rematch

The Austin Peay State University women's basketball program has taken a historic step forward with the release of its first ever United Athletic Conference schedule for the 2026‑27 season. The announcement brings a new conference alignment and a full slate of sixteen contests that will test the Governors from the opening tip‑off.

The schedule kicks off on January 6 with a road game at Eastern Kentucky, marking the first of eight conference matchups away from the campus in Clarksville. That opening test also serves as a revenge opportunity, having seen the Governors defeat Eastern Kentucky in last season's Atlantic Sun Tournament.

Home action begins on January 9 when the Governors host North Alabama, and the team will soon embark on a three‑game road swing that starts at UT Arlington on January 23. The early road stretch will also include contests at Tarleton State and a return to Arlington later in the month.

A New Era for APSU Women's Basketball

Mid‑season will see the Governors welcome Tarleton State on February 3 and host UT Arlington on February 6, before traveling to Central Arkansas on February 20. The schedule also features a road game at Tarleton State on February 24, setting up a busy February for the team.

The regular season will culminate with a home rematch against Eastern Kentucky on March 6, providing a chance for the Governors to finish the conference slate on their own terms. Fans can find the complete schedule and ticket information on the official APSU Athletics website.
