Arch Manning, the senior quarterback for Texas Football, has once again earned a spot on the Davey O'Brien National Quarterback Award preseason watch list, marking the second consecutive year he has been recognized among the nation’s top signal‑callers.
Milestones on the field
During the 2025 campaign he threw for 3,163 yards and 26 touchdowns while also rushing for 399 yards and 10 scores, numbers that helped him rank second on the team in rushing yards and set a career‑high home passing touchdown percentage of 9.5 percent.
His efficiency was underscored by three games in which he posted at least 300 passing yards and three touchdowns without an interception, a feat that tied the season high for Power Conference quarterbacks.
The Longhorns finished the year 10‑3, highlighted by victories over four AP Top‑20 opponents and a win in the Cheez‑It Citrus Bowl where Manning’s performance earned him a spot on the Postseason Great 8 and the MVP award.
That bowl victory also placed him among Texas’ exclusive group of past Davey O'Brien Award winners, a lineage that includes Heisman Trophy laureate Earl Campbell.
