Arieona Rosborough, the standout guard who led Tarleton State to its first Division I postseason run, has officially signed a professional contract with ŽKK Kraljevo in Serbia, continuing a lineage of Texas players who venture abroad after college.
During her lone season with the Texans, Rosborough shattered multiple program records, amassing 408 points, 140 field goals, 124 free throws and 92 offensive rebounds, while also posting five 20-point outings that earned her a spot on the Fleur-De-Lis All-Tournament team at the Big Easy Classic.
Record-Breaking Season
Her scoring surge helped Tarleton State finish second in the Western Athletic Conference and secure an automatic berth into the WNIT, the program's inaugural Division I postseason appearance, where the team enjoyed a first-round bye and hosted its opening game at home.
Rosborough also made history by becoming the first Tarleton State player in Division I to post consecutive 20-point games in back-to-back conference matchups, a feat that underscored her consistency as she averaged 14.8 points over the final five WAC contests, including 19 against Seattle University and 17 at UT Arlington.
Coach Bill Brock, who has guided four Tarleton State alumni into professional contracts after graduation, praised Rosborough's contributions, noting that her departure follows a broader pattern of Texan talent seeking opportunities overseas.
International Opportunities
ŽKK Kraljevo, a professional women's basketball club based in Kraljevo and competing in Serbia's First Women's Basketball League, will now integrate Rosborough into its roster, adding a proven scorer to a squad already steeped in domestic success.
The move reflects a growing trend at Tarleton State, where recent graduates such as starting guard Caroline Lyles are set to return for the upcoming season, and the program continues to produce players ready for international competition.
