Arizona Wildcats Open 2027 Season at Arlington Showdown
The University of Arizona baseball program will kick off its 2027 campaign at the Shriners Children's College Showdown, a three‑day tournament held at Globe Life Field in Arlington, Texas, from February 19‑21, 2027.
The event, which brings together six collegiate programs, will be broadcast live on FloSports, giving fans across the country a chance to follow the action from the outset of the season.
Ticket sales open on June 25, 2024, at 9 a.m. Central Time, with a tiered pricing structure that includes Home Plate Reserved packages offering access to all days, reserved seating, parking and exclusive hospitality areas.
Adult tickets are priced at $156, while youth tickets for children 13 and under cost $84, before taxes and fees; group tickets and private suites are also available through REV Entertainment.
A Competitive Field
The Wildcats will face familiar foes including Clemson, Oklahoma, TCU, Texas and Virginia in a lineup designed to test early‑season form and provide high‑profile matchups for recruits and scouts.
Held in Arlington, the tournament also serves as a showcase for the region’s growing baseball infrastructure and supports charitable initiatives tied to Shriners Children's.
The University of Arizona, Clemson University, University of Oklahoma, Texas Christian University, University of Texas at Austin and University of Virginia will all be represented, underscoring the event’s national reach.
