EA Sports has just unveiled the latest player ratings for the Arizona Wildcats in College Football 27, spotlighting the program’s most promising talent ahead of the upcoming season.
Leading the pack is sophomore quarterback Noah Fifita, whose 90 overall rating places him ninth among all quarterbacks in the nation, underscoring his status as the Wildcats’ offensive centerpiece. Over three-plus seasons he has thrown for 73 touchdowns and amassed 9,183 yards, establishing himself as the nation’s active career leader in passing scores.
Joining him in the top tier are defensive standouts Jay'Vion Cole and linebacker Taye Brown, each earning Third Team All‑Big 12 honors last year and ranking second and third respectively in the Wildcats’ rating. Cole recorded four interceptions, 23 tackles and three tackles for loss in his first season, while Brown started all 13 games, posting 93 tackles, 8.5 tackles for loss and 1.5 sacks.
A blend of experience and new talent
The top‑10 list reflects a mix of continuity and change, with eight of the ten players returning from a nine‑win campaign and two fresh faces arriving via the transfer portal, a strategy that has already paid dividends for the program.
Other notable contributors include senior linebacker Tre Smith, who has amassed 148 tackles and 14 sacks over his collegiate career, and offensive lineman Tristan Bounds, whose 72.3 PFF grade and 80.3 pass‑blocking rating highlight his reliability in the trenches. Running back Kedrick Reescano has rushed for 755 yards and scored 10 touchdowns across two seasons, while receiver Quincy Craig found the end zone twice on just five touches, including a game‑winning score against Kansas.
The depth extends to players such as Alexander Doost, who logged 878 snaps at right guard, and Antwan Roberts, whose 523 rushing yards and four touchdowns while at Marshall illustrate the offense’s versatility. Defensive backs Malcolm Hartzog and Antwan Roberts have combined for 108 tackles, 4.5 tackles for loss, eight interceptions and 13 pass breakups, further cementing the Wildcats’ defensive prowess.
