A packed road ahead
The schedule opens with a much‑anticipated trip to Las Vegas, where Arizona will face UCLA on November 2. The early‑season test continues with a home opener against Cal Poly on November 5, followed by a showdown with UConn on November 18, a team that reached the NCAA final the previous year.
Arizona will also host a trio of exhibition games against San Francisco, San Diego State and Eastern Washington, while a preseason showcase in September will set the tone for the campaign. The Wildcats will travel to Hawaii for the Maui Invitational, marking their tenth appearance in the tournament. They open against Colorado State on November 23 and will meet either Providence or VCU on November 24, promising another test against quality opposition.
Home non‑conference opponents include LSU‑New Orleans, Tennessee Tech, Northern Illinois and Incarnate Word, providing a mix of styles before Big 12 play is expected to begin on January 2.
