Arkansas basketball will open its highly anticipated non‑conference schedule on November 17 when the Razorbacks take on Indiana at the historic Madison Square Garden in New York City. Coach John Calipari has urged fans to fill the venue, stressing that a strong turnout is essential for the program’s visibility.
Calipari, who has spoken repeatedly about the value of playing in New York, sees the Garden as a platform that can boost recruiting and national relevance. He has indicated a desire to schedule the event annually, using the exposure to attract top talent and elevate the program’s profile.
The matchup with Indiana is particularly intriguing because the Hoosiers missed the NCAA tournament a year ago but have responded by adding seven transfers through the portal. Their revamped roster will test the Razorbacks’ early‑season chemistry.
